Laptop, 1999, IBM. The ThinkPad 240 was the smallest and lightest ThinkPad when it was released in June 1999, an ultraportable of 1.3 kg with a 10.4" screen and a nearly full-size keyboard, made in Taiwan for the Japanese market and later sold in Europe and America. It has a Mobile Celeron or Pentium III processor, no internal floppy or CD drive, and it was replaced in 2000 by the ThinkPad X series.
