Personal computer, 1979, Zenith Data Systems. The Z-89 is the assembled version of the Heathkit H-89, an all-in-one computer that combined the H-19 terminal with a Z80 computer board and a 5.25" floppy drive in a single case with a 12" screen. The H-88 was the cheaper cassette-based version without the floppy drive, which could later be upgraded. Two Z80 processors are used, one for the terminal and one for the computer, and the machine runs Heath's HDOS or CP/M. It was sold both as a kit and assembled by Zenith after it bought Heath's computer business.
