Schneider CPC 464

Producer: Amstrad - Category: Personal Computer

Home computer, 1984, Schneider. The Schneider CPC 464 is the German version of the Amstrad CPC 464, sold by Schneider Rundfunkwerke of Türkheim, which distributed the CPC line in Germany, Austria and Switzerland under its own name until 1988. The first units are identical to the British machine apart from the badge; later German units replaced the edge connectors with DIN sockets to meet German regulations and have a keyboard with grey keys instead of coloured ones. In the German-speaking countries the Schneider CPC was one of the most popular home computers.
