Light gun, 1985, Nintendo. The Zapper is the light gun of the Nintendo Entertainment System, sold with the console in the bundles with Duck Hunt. It is a redesign of the light gun of the Japanese Famicom, in grey and later in orange in the United States, and it works with a CRT television by detecting the flashes that the game draws on the screen when the trigger is pulled. Duck Hunt, Wild Gunman and Hogan's Alley are among the games that use it.
