Floppy disk drive, 1982, Commodore. The 1541 is the best-known floppy disk drive of the Commodore 64: a single-sided 170 KB 5.25 inch drive with its own 6502 processor and operating system, so slow that fast loaders became an industry of their own, but sold in millions.
