Single-board computer, 1978, Rockwell. The AIM-65 ("Advanced Interactive Microcomputer") is a development computer based on the 6502, essentially an expanded KIM-1 with a full typewriter keyboard, a 20-character alphanumeric LED display and a small thermal printer on the board itself. Its ROM monitor includes an assembler and disassembler, and BASIC, FORTH, Pascal and PL/65 were available in additional ROMs. It was used in education and in industrial control, and could be mounted in an optional case.
