Server, 1996, Hewlett-Packard. The HP 9000 D-class is a line of entry-level and mid-range PA-RISC servers introduced in 1996 in a tower case, with one or two PA-7200, PA-7300LC or PA-8000 processors depending on the model (D200 to D390), up to 3 GB of memory, hot-swappable SCSI disks and HP-PB and EISA expansion slots. They ran HP-UX 10 and were used as departmental database and application servers until they were replaced by the A- and L-class in the late 1990s.
