Superbrain QD Intertec

Personal computer, 1979, Intertec. The SuperBrain of Intertec Data Systems (Columbia, South Carolina) is an all-in-one CP/M computer with a 12" screen, keyboard and two 5.25" drives in a single moulded case. Unusually it uses two Z80 processors, the second one dedicated to the disk controller. The QD ("Quad Density") model of 1981 doubled the disk capacity of the original machine with double-sided drives, giving about 700 KB of on-line storage. SuperBrains were popular with small businesses running WordStar and dBase.
