The P500 is the "personal" model of the CBM-II series: unlike the business models it has the VIC-II graphics chip with colour and sprites and runs at 1 MHz, a kind of Commodore 64 with 128 KB and the CBM-II architecture. It was released only in Europe (PAL) in small numbers.
