Prototype home computer, 1991, Commodore. The Commodore 65 (also C64DX) is an improved, backward compatible successor of the Commodore 64 developed in 1990 and 1991 and cancelled before release; a few hundred prototypes were sold off when Commodore went bankrupt in 1994 and are now among the most sought-after collector's items.
