Sinclair ZX Printer

Printer, 1981, Sinclair Research. The ZX Printer is a tiny spark printer for the ZX81 and the ZX Spectrum: it prints 32 characters per line on a roll of aluminium-coated paper by burning away the coating with electric sparks from two styli on a rotating belt, and it copies the screen with the COPY command. It was noisy, the paper was fragile and expensive, but at £49.95 it was the cheapest printer ever sold for a home computer.
