Altos Series 5 CP/M MP/M Z80 computer
Multi-user computer, 1982, Altos Computer Systems. The Altos Series 5 is a small multi-user system built around a Z80A with 192 KB of RAM, sold to small businesses with the MP/M II operating system, which let up to three users work from serial terminals, or with CP/M for single users and the Oasis system. The Series 5-5D has two 5.25" floppy drives of 500 KB, the 5-15D one floppy and a 5 MB hard disk. Altos was one of the main suppliers of low-cost multi-user machines before the PC and Unix took over that market.
