Personal computer, 1992, Commodore. The Amiga 4000/040, released in October 1992, was Commodore's flagship desktop: a 68040 at 25 MHz on the A3640 processor card, the new AGA chip set with 256 colours from 16.8 million, IDE hard disk, high density floppy and Zorro III slots, the platform of the Video Toaster 4000 and of many Lightwave studios.
