Hanimex HMG 2650 Color TV game system

Video game console, 1983, Hanimex. The HMG-2650 is one of the many clones of the Emerson Arcadia 2001, sold in Europe by Hanimex, an Australian brand of photographic and electronic goods. It uses the Signetics 2650 processor and the 2637 video chip and plays the same cartridges as the Arcadia and its other clones (Schmid TVG-2000, Bandai Arcadia, Leisure-Vision), with two Intellivision-style controllers with keypad and side buttons. The Arcadia family was sold from 1982 for little more than a year, overtaken by the ColecoVision and the video game crash.
