Microcomputer, 1975, IMS Associates. The IMSAI 8080 was the first "clone" of the Altair 8800, built around the same Intel 8080 processor and the same S-100 bus but with a sturdier construction, a better power supply and a front panel of large paddle switches and LEDs for entering programs and reading memory. It was sold as a kit or assembled, and between 17,000 and 20,000 units were made; the machine is familiar from the film WarGames. IMSAI was also the first customer of Digital Research's CP/M.
