Oric Atmos

Home computer, 1984, Oric Products International. The Oric Atmos is the improved version of the Oric-1, with a proper typewriter-style keyboard in a red and black case and a corrected ROM (BASIC 1.1) that fixed the bugs and the tape-loading problems of the first machine. The hardware is otherwise unchanged: a 6502 with 48 KB of RAM, 8-colour graphics and a three-voice sound chip. It sold well in France, where the line was later continued by Eureka after the British company failed.
