Atari 260 ST
Personal computer, 1985, Atari. The 260ST was the first ST model to reach European shops, in the summer of 1985, a few weeks before the 520ST. It was announced with 256 KB of RAM, hence the name, but the first version of TOS had to be loaded from disk and occupied too much memory, so the machines actually shipped with 512 KB and are electrically identical to the 520ST. It has the integrated keyboard, the external floppy drive and the mouse of the early ST, with the GEM desktop.
