Home computer, 1982, Dragon Data. The Dragon 32 was made in Wales by a subsidiary of the toy company Mettoy, on a design that closely follows the Tandy Color Computer: the same 6809 processor, the same Motorola video chip and Microsoft Extended Colour BASIC, which made much Tandy software run unchanged. It has a proper keyboard, 32 KB of RAM, joystick and printer ports and a cartridge slot, and was for a while one of the best-selling home computers in Britain; the Dragon 64 followed in 1983 and the company went into receivership in 1984.
