Honeywell DPS6

Minicomputer, 1979, Honeywell. The DPS 6 is the name given in 1979 to the Level 6 line of 16-bit minicomputers that Honeywell had introduced in the mid 1970s, built at the former Computer Control Company plant in Massachusetts. The machines ran the GCOS 6 operating system for real-time, transaction and office applications and were sold worldwide, in Italy through Honeywell Information Systems Italia. The line evolved into the 32-bit DPS 6 Plus and then the DPS 6000, and remained in use until the 1990s.
