Home computer, 1982, EACA. The EG2000 Colour Genie was made in Hong Kong by EACA, the maker of the TRS-80-compatible Video Genie, and is loosely based on that machine with the addition of a colour display, a sound chip and a proper keyboard with programmable function keys. It was sold in Germany from 1982 and in the United Kingdom, with 16 KB of RAM expandable to 32 KB, and its Level II BASIC is compatible with much TRS-80 software once the screen differences are handled.
