Personal computer, 1980, Apple. The Apple III was Apple's business computer: 80 column display, upper and lower case keyboard with numeric keypad, the Sophisticated Operating System (SOS) and an Apple II emulation mode. Reliability problems of the first units and a high price made it a commercial failure, and it was withdrawn in 1984.
