ZX Spectrum +2A
Home computer, 1987, Amstrad. The ZX Spectrum +2A is the black version of the +2 introduced in 1987, built on the electronics of the +3 disk model but with a built-in cassette recorder instead of the 3" drive. The changes to the memory map and the ROM (which includes the +3 BASIC editor) broke compatibility with a few older programs and peripherals, but the machine was cheap, robust and remained in production until the end of the Spectrum in 1992.
