Compaq SLT/286 Model 2680

Laptop, 1988, Compaq. The SLT/286 was Compaq's first laptop, the successor of the luggable Portable series. It weighs about 6 kg, has a 12 MHz 80286, a 10" VGA-compatible backlit LCD, a 1.44 MB floppy drive and a 20 or 40 MB hard disk, and its keyboard is detachable so that the screen can be moved away from the user. A rechargeable battery gives about three hours of use. The Model 2680 is the version with the 20 MB hard disk.
