iMAC G4 15"
Personal computer, 2002, Apple. The iMac G4 with 15 inch display is the original version of the "sunflower" iMac presented by Steve Jobs at Macworld San Francisco in January 2002: a flat LCD on a chrome arm that moves with one finger, above a half-sphere base containing a PowerPC G4, the drives and the power supply. It replaced the CRT iMac and was sold with the Apple Pro Keyboard, Pro Mouse and Pro Speakers; the 700 and 800 MHz models of 2002 were followed in 2003 by a 1 GHz version with USB 2.0. The 17 and 20 inch models came later. The Esocop specimen is an 800 MHz model of 2002 (M6498).
