Sega Master System II

Video game console, 1990, Sega. The Master System II is the smaller, cheaper redesign of the Master System, released in 1990 when Sega had already moved on to the Mega Drive. It drops the card slot, the expansion port and the reset button, and it has a game built in, Alex Kidd in Miracle World or later Sonic the Hedgehog. It remained very popular in Europe and Brazil, where the 8-bit system outsold the Mega Drive for years.
