Amiga Joyboard

Game controller, 1983, Amiga Corporation. The Joyboard is a balance board controller made by Amiga Corporation for the Atari 2600, before the company built the Amiga computer: the player stands on the board and leans to control the game; it was sold with the skiing game Mogul Maniac and demonstrated by the skier Suzy Chaffee. The Amiga engineers' "Guru Meditation" error message comes from the game they played on it to relax. The Joyboard carries the old Amiga logo, later replaced by the well-known one; the same old logo can also be found on some of the first Amiga 500 and Amiga 1000 boxes.
