Compaq Contura 400C Laptop
Laptop, 1994, Compaq. The Contura 400C belongs to the Contura line, Compaq's affordable notebooks of 1992 to 1996 that brought the company into the entry-level market. The 400 series of 1994 has a 486 processor, a colour LCD (the C suffix indicates the passive-matrix colour screen), a built-in trackball in front of the keyboard, PCMCIA slots and a removable hard disk, and was sold with MS-DOS and Windows 3.1.
