Workstation, 1996, Silicon Graphics. The O2 replaced the Indy as SGI's entry-level workstation, a small blue tower with a unified memory architecture in which the CPU, graphics and video share the same memory, an idea taken from games consoles, with MIPS R5000 and later R10000/R12000 processors and built-in video input, audio and a camera option. It was popular in multimedia, medical imaging and education, and it was SGI's last low-end machine, sold until 2002.
